At sixteen-year-old,Marie-Josee Matartakes his first singing lessons at National Conservatory of Lebanon and embarks on a musical journey that will take him from Beirut, a city where the lyrical scene is very limited, to Paris, one of the capitalsmost acclaimed in the world of music.
In recent years, it occurs notably in many concert halls including the Presidential Palace of the French Republic (Palais de the Elysee Palace) and City Hall in Paris, the United Nations Palace in Geneva, UNESCO at Paris, and the Festival des Nuits d'Orient in Dijon.
She has been recognized by critics for the richness and brilliance of her voice:

Among his recent engagements, we can mention Fauré's Requiem with the Orchester Philharmonic Georges Enescu at the Romanian Athenaeum - Bucharest, the Lobegesang de Mendelssohn and Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the Philharmonic Orchestra Lebanese, Mozart's Requiem and Brahms' German Requiem; As well as the roles of Gilda (Rigoletto) at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet “Oleg Danovski” at Constanta, Susanna and Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Madame Herz in Der Mozart's Schauspieldirektor.
Her interest in Lebanese music led her to work closely collaboration with Lebanese composers such as Toufic Succar, Bechara El Khoury and Iyad Kanaan. Passionately defending this repertoire, she gives also numerous recitals with the pianist Georges Daccache, in Lebanon and en Europe.
